Preparing material, assembling, and welding all styles of driveshafts and steering shafts for all applications.

Cut and prepare material for assembly using band saws, chop saws, and lathes
Hydraulic press parts into tube
Weld assembly using specialized machine

Physical:
This role is a 100% standing position
Constantly lift 50# unaided
Frequently lift over 50#, lifting aids are available

Pay:
Up to $21 per hour (Based on experience)

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in supporting our Maintenance Manager and department managers with day-to-day inspections and repairs.

Day Shift:
Monday Through Friday
Flexible start time 5:00-7:00AM normally
40 hours a week
Overtime available

Responsibilities and Duties

• Weekly inspections on vehicles and forklifts
• Oil changes, filter changes, and minor vehicle or forklift services
• Inspect, service, and maintain mist collectors
• Service and clean filters with both makeup air units
• Assist in the required inspections of all equipment
• Check and maintain fluid levels in equipment
• Maintain facility equipment – Toilets, faucets, sinks, lights, and other building related tasks
• Assist maintenance manager in keeping all equipment in proper running order as needed
• Documenting and maintaining service records within our computer system
• Other miscellaneous duties as they arise

Qualifications

• General mechanical knowledge
• Ability to work alone effectively while able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time

• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Able to stand, kneel, bending, lifting, or getting into awkward positions
• Able to provide some of your own tools
• Basic computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Capable of working independently and in a team setting
• Willingness to learn

Pay:
$23 per hour
